  • Unfortunately most people in the US with mental illness (which I think is a real possibility here) do not get the treatment they need. One commenter said social services should remove her reproductive organs as removing her children didn't solve the problem.

  • So sad because most parents in countries such as Lithuania (as well as other lower economic status countries) have never touched a computer in their lives. They probably didn't even realize their daughter was in danger.

  • If these paid days off (sick leave, vacation leave, etc.) are part of your benefits package that make up your salary and you earn them, then you should be able to use them whenever and however you want. At many organizations if you don't use them, you lose them. They do not roll over.

  • I think it's easy to throw stones when you've never been in a situation where you needed public assistance. Not everyone is born with privileges such as responsible parents or a responsible care giver. And some people are born poor.

  • I just tried to go to Amazon to look at this book and it's comments and it's page is no longer there. You can search for the book, see it's there, but when you click the link to see it the page is no longer available. I'm assuming this means Amazon is taking the book down and no longer offering it?

  • I don't understand why it matters that Charlie Sheen was drunk, naked and with a woman in his hotel room. If he paid for it and if he pays for his unmade bed and broken chair, then who cares? Why is this news?
